Hi, I’m Olivia Wheeler!
I'm a wife, mother, daughter, & friend. I'm a Los Angeles County local & I have lived here my whole life. When I'm not running around with my son, I'm either riding horses, working out, doing something outdoors, or with family. I rely on camping, hiking, yoga & meditating to keep my cup full. My time is spent being a wife & mother, & I wouldn’t have it any other way.
My Birth Story
I gave birth to my first in August of 2023. I was fortunate enough to experience a healthy & safe birth at a birthing center known as Pure Births. Due to studying & researching for years about the divine power that our bodies hold in order to bring new life into this world, I was able to better plan & prepare myself for my initial journey into motherhood. I wanted to give birth in water, naturally with no epidural, in a calm & relaxed environment with minimal unnecessary intervention.
My decision to give birth at a birthing center allowed for me to check all my boxes, while still being surrounded by an educated & experienced team of Midwives & Nurses who provided the essential care that I & my baby needed. After crossing that bridge into postpartum, I knew fully that my experience only solidified my decision to dedicate myself to helping new parents on their journeys too.
How My Path Was Chosen
Throughout my life, babies have always seemed to gravitate towards me. I used to always be the one getting a baby down for a nap at a family gathering, or holding the baby so the parents could sit down & eat. I allowed this universal pull to lead me into deeply researching the pregnancy, birth, & postpartum process, for when it would one day be my turn. I was opened to the way the current Western-World medical system treats mothers & the birthing process entirely.
Once I became pregnant with my first, I found a Birth Center that I loved. I was blessed & fortunate enough to have an empowering, beautiful, natural water birth. After going through postpartum myself, it made my passion grow stronger & deeper. All I want is for all mothers to feel supported, heard, & taken care of so that their postpartum experience can be smooth and revolutionary. Postpartum can be such a beautiful journey, & even if it isn’t, I want to be there to support women through any circumstance so they're not alone.
