Postpartum Doula Services

It's always best for us to meet and complete an interview during your pregnancy so that you, your family, and I are all on the same page. Already delivered your baby or currently full-term? No problem! We can still meet for an interview to discuss your needs!

Our Journey Together

Consultation

First begin by completing the contact form so we can book a consultation of your choice, video call or over-the-phone. Please provide your contact information, current situation, week/month milestone, support plan interests, & any questions you may have. This will allow our conversation to be guided by what is most important to you & your unique situation. After the consultation is complete, and you are completely confident in your decision to move forward, we will schedule the in-person interview. No charge!

Interview

During our in-person interview, we will sit down & discuss all of you & your families postpartum goals & needs. We can cover prior postpartum experiences, if any, & any worries, concerns, or questions you or a loved one may have. We will read through a list of questions, both for you & for me, cover a range of topics, & go over the contract outline so that we are all on the same page. I will leave some information & resources with you that you & your family can read through, to include contact info for other Doulas, my contract agreement, & a few educational resources. No charge!

Once You've Hired Me

First off, thank you! After we've completed the consultation, interview, & you are fully confident in me & my services, we will start with a contract agreement, confirming schedules, finalizing requests, & a deposit.

Services I Will Not Provide

Doulas can provide a wide range of services for you & your family. However, we can not & will not do everything you may need. There are certain responsibilities that will be left to your established medical care team, whether that be through your hospital or birthing center. Some of the services I will not provide may include:

  • Medical Care or Diagnostics
  • Extreme/Unusual Requests
  • Overnight Duties (as of now)
  • Making ANY decisions for you or your family
